Poultry

We currently stock Light Sussex hens and black Silkies.

They free range around the grounds and happily co-exist with the ducks.

They are primarily kept for their eggs and when broody we use them to hatch our waterfowl eggs and rear the young, especially those from our Indian Runner ducks.

If you are interested in purchasing eggs from our black Silkies please contact us.

We also keep and breed Japanese quails (Coturnix Japonica). They produce a large number of small but tasty eggs, which are consumed on a weekly basis.
